Installation: Fluctuating Steps I & II

This series of installation attempted to visualise how inherent chaotic force calls for correspondent order in ruins while under some artifical control. Forms randomly proliferate in the balance of constraint and chance. Different types of pipes in modern ruins are the archetype of this work because they symbolise the resource of life in one building, and literately embody trace of power in a space. The cutted eage and the arrangement of each unit implys an invisible mode that shapes, freezes and even compulsorily cuts off the body of energy. Humans can only feel that chaotic energy by observing visible traces relatively, which is exactly the same as what I observed in real ruins.
